We are so grateful for all the help our volunteers provide for our school!  If you would like to volunteer at the school, we would love to have your help.  Please fill out the necessary forms and do the volunteer screening.

We take student safety very seriously. In an effort to ensure our students safety, we are requiring that all who volunteer at Hermiston Jr. Academy complete the background check through Sterling Volunteers.  This includes anyone assisting in a classroom, driving students to and from field trips/community service, helping with Hot Lunch, etc.  You must then wait until you have received notification from the school before beginning service.

If you plan to drive students other than your own, an additional form (Upper Columbia Conference Private Transportation) will need to be filled out.  We also need proof of insurance, public liability, driver’s license information and background check on file in the office.

Parents are welcome to visit the school any time, but please contact the teacher before visiting the classroom.
