An Idaho native, Mrs. Brown was born and raised in the treasure valley and graduated from the eighth grade from Eagle SDA Christian School in 1980. Last year she had the pleasure of teaching grades 1-4 in the same classroom where she attended. She has also taught in New Mexico, Ohio, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington, where she served in one room schools with 9 grades as well as senior academies. She has a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership and Autism. She graduated from Boise State University with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. When not in the classroom, Mrs. Brown loves serving others, spending time with her kids and grandkids in nature, crocheting, sewing, and reading good books.
